ABC Endorses Mitt Romney for President!
Phoenix, Arizona - Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) today endorsed presidential candidate and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney to be the 45th President of the United States. The association's endorsement of Romney came during the ABC National Board of Directors meeting in Phoenix.

Charlotte, NC - Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) today praised the passage of the Right to Work Act of 2012 in the House of Representatives in South Carolina.
"The Right to Work Act of 2012 protects open and fair competition," said ABC President & CEO Doug Carlson. "The legislation with ABC Open Competition language prohibits Project Labor Agreements in public projects in South Carolina."

Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee Chairman William "Bill" Sandifer introduced the "Right to Work Act of 2012" which in addition to other important reforms, would prohibit project labor agreements (PLA) mandates on public construction.
