ABC offers all of its members an opportunity to serve on various committees.  By providing valuable input to the association's  Board of Directors and Area Councils, committees help establish the policies, priorities and objectives of ABC Carolinas.

Members volunteer their time to serve on various committees, helping other members get the most from their membership.

We work together to identify opportunities to increase our PAC participation and revenue, as well as working on our annual ‘Hard Hat Day’ event at the capital in North and South Carolina. If you enjoy staying up-to-date on  legislative affairs, this committee could be for you!

They do marketing materials for publications like Triangle Biz Journal, SC Biz Journal and Charlotte Biz Journal.

School to Career / Education Training
This committee is focused on building our workforce with quality workers by visiting schools, working with our student chapters, participating in career days, and working with our apprenticeship program. These committee members work closely with our workforce development staff to promote and schedule training classes that are beneficial to the industry.

Special Events Committees ( Summer Conference & EIC )

These committees work closely with the ABC Staff to help plan our special annual events. They help staff make decisions, like where the event will be held, what theme we will pick and what speakers to get at theses conferences to make it the best conference yet! These committees are held once a month by conference call.

Each of these committees meet once a month - same time, same date, and same location. The chairman of each committee is responsible to sit in on a conference call once a month, with a board liaison, the
