The mission of the ABC Carolinas Safety Council is to promote the safety culture within the construction industry, provide a source of safety expertise and information, and assist in the development of safety programs in the interest of conserving employee health and company profitability. The ABC of the Carolinas Safety Council supports the values of leadership and integrity through opportunities of training and consultive services to ABC of the Carolinas members.

The OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety & Health Course introduces your employees to the OSHA regulations and provides fundamental safety and health training necessary for your personnel to recognize common construction workplace hazards and apply appropriate protection measures.

This course is recommended for any person interested in gaining more knowledge of construction workplace hazards, employee protection methods and applicable OSHA regulations. Suggested audiences include: Construction workers, supervisors, managers, designers and client project representatives.

OSHA 30 Hour    January 19 - 20, 26 -27, 2012

The OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety & Health Course has become accepted as the new minimum standard training for construction industry supervisors, managers and other professionals because of its comprehensive nature. This course gives participants a detailed explanation of significant sections of the OSHA CFR 1926 regulations for construction. This course is recommended for all construction company management personnel including supervisors, project managers, estimators, safety managers, owner’s representatives and journeymen craftsmen. This course is presented in an easy to understand format that engages the group with several hands-on demonstrations and activities. The course will be delivered over four full days.

You Will:
• Learn about OSHA inspections and citations.
• Become familiar with many of the most important OSHA regulations.
• Learn which OSHA regulations are most frequently cited.
• Learn the hazards causing the most construction workplace injuries and deaths.
