The mission of the ABC Construction Institute is to provide the construction industry with the most qualified and technically trained people at all levels through various educational opportunities to strengthen the construction workforce in the Carolinas. ABC works cooperatively with other organizations and member companies, such as the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) to offer programs that carry with them both a high educational and financial value.

Professional Mobile Crane Operator Course - March 27 - 30, 2012
ABC Gaylor Training Center, Charlotte, NC This course is designed to prepare Professional Mobile Crane Operator candidates to take the written assessments, which is a major step toward meeting the federal OSHA operator certification requirements of 29 CFR Part 1926 OSHA - Subpart CC. There will be three days of classroom training and on the fourth day candidates will take an ANSI accredited and OSHA recognized NCCER Mobile Crane Operator Certification written assessment. The candidate must successfully complete both the written assessment and a practical evaluation to complete the certification process and receive their OSHA and ASME compliant Mobile Crane Operator certification. Practical evaluations are NOT included as part of this course. ABC can conduct the practical evaluations with each candidate after the course at their location using their own equipment.
