ABC has announced the opening of the ABC Gaylor Training Center, a construction craft training and education facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ABC Gaylor Training Center, named after Gaylor of North Carolina, Inc., an electrical contractor located in Mooresville, N.C., has over 10,000 square feet of space and includes with five classrooms, laboratories, laydown work space, a conference room and a general office. The Training Center has received accreditation from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) as a certified training unit and is an NCCER accredited assessment center. Linda Construction Co. performed LEED NC waste management for the Ritz-Carlton. During the project Linda worked over 50,000 man hours incident free in a high-risk environment, finished on schedule, 5% under budget, while maintaining a 76% recycle/salvage rate earning 2 LEED points for the project.
