Project of the Year Winners

General Contractor Project of the Year-
Cherokee Central Schools Building Program

This 18 building 473,000 sq/ft K-12 complex serving over 1,200 Cherokee Indian students is the largest school east of the Mississippi registered for LEED Certification (Silver Level).

Specialty Contractor Project of the Year-
Ritz-Carlton Commercial Interiors

Linda Construction Co. performed LEED NC waste management for the Ritz-Carlton. During the project Linda worked over 50,000 man hours incident free in a high-risk environment, finished on schedule, 5% under budget, while maintaining a 76% recycle/salvage rate earning 2 LEED points for the project.
