UnionWatch Alert: NLRB Union Posting Rule Suspended
Charlotte, NC. - The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) announced today that the NLRB's "Notification of Employee Rights" notice posting rule compliance date of April 30 is no longer in effect due to an injunction ordered by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
No ABC member should post the NLRB notice until further notice.

ABC Supports Open Competition Legislation in South Carolina!
Charlotte, NC- Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), Carolinas Chapter today praised the introduction of legislation in South Carolina that will ensure fair and open competition on taxpayer funded construction projects. Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee Chairman William "Bill" Sandifer introduced the "Right to Work Act of 2012" which in addition to other important reforms, would prohibit project labor agreements (PLA) mandates on public construction.
